Pudgy Penguins, the digital asset company behind the globally acknowledged non-fungible token collection, Pudgy Penguins, has partnered with DreamWorks Animation, the team behind KungFu Panda, to launch a non-fungible token sticker collection on Telegram. In response to this integration, the Pudgy Penguins NFT collection has seen its trading sales volume jump by +130% in the past 24 hours.
Penguins & Kungfu Panda NFT Stickers Overview
In an October 27 blog post, DreamWorks Animation confirmed that they have partnered with the Pudgy Penguins team to launch a non-fungible token sticker collection on Telegram. DreamWorks is a renowned American animation studio, now a subsidiary of NBCUniversal, known for creating popular animated feature films, television series, and games. DreamWorks is known for Kung Fu Panda, an American-Chinese martial arts comedy media franchise that started in 2008.

On the other hand, Pudgy Penguins is a globally acknowledged non-fungible token project that features a limited set of 8,888 penguin birds hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network. The Pudgy Penguins team is also the brainchild behind ‘Lil Pudgy,’ another globally acknowledged non-fungible token collection featuring a limited edition of 22,222 NFTs hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network.
Under the new integration, the Pudgy Penguins and DreamWorks team anticipate joining forces to create a non-fungible token collection sticker collection. This highly anticipated NFT sticker collection will be launched on TON. Launched in 2019, TON is a scalable and high-performance layer-1 blockchain network designed for decentralized applications, offering fast and low-cost transactions. It was initially developed by the Telegram team, but now it’s community-driven.
NFT Stickers Hype Is Back
In Q4 2025, the hype around non-fungible token stickers has re-emerged, particularly on the messaging app Telegram, where users can buy, sell, and trade unique digital assets. This new trend is part of a broader shift in the NFT market, which has evolved to focus more on utility and community rather than on pure speculation, as was the case during the peak of the NFT craze in 2021.
Telegram NFT stickers officially launched in December 2024, with the Open Builders NFT team launching the first major Sticker Store on the TON blockchain, allowing users to buy, sell, and trade NFT stickers from projects like Bored Ape Yacht Club. Earlier this year, Telegram and Notcoin partnered to bring more NFT stickers, including famous collections like Pudgy Penguins and DOGS OG, to the platform.
In mid this year, Telegram expanded its non-fungible token sticker offerings, with major brands like Lamborghini debuting collectible stickers on the TON blockchain. In response to massive adoption, the trading sales volume of non-fungible token sticker packs surged, though Telegram’s earlier tokenized Gifts remained the dominant collectible. Telegram NFT stickers have boosted the global NFT market by bringing digital collectibles to a mainstream audience, creating new monetization opportunities for creators, and bridging the gap between social media and Web3.
